I’ve been kicking around this post for a while, holding off on posting anything else cause this is my 500th post and I wanted to do something substantial in celebration of getting to 500 posts. This weekend is also my 40th birthday so this post will be a culmination (Insert assistant coach from American Pie, “CULMINATION…”) of a couple things. I’ll insert a break as not to blow up your dash, people on mobile, sorry you’ll just have to deal.

This is from an Omaha station and I actually know this pumpkin. I was actually on stage with him this past weekend. Seriously, one of THE most talented and funniest dudes I’ve ever had the privilege to work with. I’m honored to know him and call him my friend. This makes me laugh every time it comes across my dashboard. And it’s from the early 2000’s and it’s still popping up, in July of 2014.
When I mentioned it last week, a few folks seemed interested in doing a new 4n4 Challenge thing. The idea is to lose 4% of your body weight in 4 weeks with weekly weigh-ins and posts for accountability.
Since there are 5 weeks until Labor Day (from today), I’m going to switch it up for myself and do a 5n5.
So here we go.

when I cockily thought, “I’m not going to be one of those people who have pay for the extra moves to finish a level of Candy Crush. I can do this on my own.” However, after being stuck on this same fucking level the past month or so, I’m starting to think that, along with the perm I got in high school, really wasn’t a very good idea.
